What cities are going to burn down over this one?

Minimization is also emotionalism. But that’s okie.

Ha ha ha. I am sure there will be legal challenges for the former officer

Or, do you recommend lynching him?

Obviously the other agencies on scene were not involved.
The other agencies were bothered by the incident.

And the former officer’s dog did not come out of attack before the dog bit the suspect.

So, the dog was not trained properly.

I used to catch dogs on a wrap and am aware of training certifications.

Lets put away the emotionalism and drama and let the courts settle the issue.

What does that mean? The facts are the facts and the former officer will feel the heat.

With qualified immunity, the officer in question cant be charged. Could you please offer up some type of court case you would expect to see if the officer isnt charged? Do you think they will hold a court case on this while all the time they have no authority over him? Your position is really confusing to me.

I will wait to see what will happen. And there will be a lawsuit for the dog bite. The dog did not comel out of attack mode when commanded.

Turn down the emotionalism and drama and see what will happen next.

I hope no protesters will burn down my Wal-Mart during an almost peaceful protest of police brutality.

Flapping the ■■■■ out of mud.

Lets defund the mud.

I dont think you understand what qualified immunity means.

The doctrine of qualified immunity protects state and local officials, including law enforcement officers, from individual liability unless the official violated a clearly established constitutional right.

The problem comes in how the court system defines " the official violated a clearly established constitutional right." In order for the court to take the case, the claimant has to show where there had been a prior ruling where the actions of a police officer — in the same jurisdiction and with identical circumstances — have been ruled unconstitutional or illegal by a court. So unless our young truck driver can find where a case was brought previously where a dog was sicked on a truck driver for giving up to the police and that case was ruled Unconstitutional, he is not allowed to bring the case in the first place. .

I understand reality.

Lets wait and see how much the truck driver gets.

How are these officers allowed to be handling a dog that they don’t have complete voice control over? I’m upset that he set the dog on the suspect, ridiculous. But more upset that he couldn’t get the dog off with a simple voice command.

What facts are those?

Getting fired for assault isn’t feeling the heat.

In your reality who is at fault for the confrontation and who is at fault for the injuries

And From the officer? Nothing. Can’t get money from a rock

K-9 LEOs in addition to their agency training spend additional hours with their partner training for their specialized duties. Voice and hand commands are part of that training. It’s been reported a Highway Patrol trooper specifically ordered the K-9 officer to NOT release the dog. If the truck driver fought the dog it escalated and the handler would have to take another tactic to gain control. If the K-9 officer unleashed the dog ignoring the order not to it’s no wonder he was fired. The details of this debacle will be interesting to follow. In the end though, K-9 cop was wrong.

There was only one k9 officer. Give me a break.

The k9 officer lost control of his dog.

Lets hang him and hang his dog? Give me a break.

Turn a dog on the cop.

The k9 originally ran toward the other officers. It would have been neat to see one of them get bit, i agree.

The k9 was out of control.

It was only k9 handler who ■■■■■■ up. Most of our progressive posters blame all the officers and got all defund the police emotional.

A police k9 that can open a police cruiser door is one smart dog.
