Case in point for the damage a cec bubble does to a human brain.
As evidenced by all the convictions. Oh, wait a secondā¦

If they didnāt settle they were going to get their clocks cleaned in court and the IRS was going to catch a huge black eye as their own people were forced to testify in open court how Learnerās office intentionally sought to suppress the TPOās and other conservative organizations.
Odds are very good that once that case was over there were going to be a number of IRS officials charged with various crimes relating to abuse of office and official oppression under color of law.
Arenāt you being a bitā¦careful in the information you are sharing?
Patrick:
Sure. And they should be removed from government and put in jail.
Itās too bad guys like you didnāt share my disdain for government corruption. Guys like you are the reason we have so much of it. They know they can engage in it and that youāll look the other way and go out of your way to protect them. Thanks.
Perhaps you should pay attention to current events.
WildRose:
The only thing heās actually showing is five or six decades of democrats going after republicans when the regain power and republican continually taking the high road and letting things drop once the democrats are out of office.
Well, guess what, thatās no longer the case.
Republicans? High road? Funny stuff.
So when the actual data totally destroys your point, you manufacture excuses. Typical.

Both conservative and liberal groups were targeted.
Butā¦
After more research, it does appear there were some rogue IRS employees did delay more conservative groups than liberal groups, and did not follow correct procedures.
I stand corrected.
Please keep in mind though, there were no criminal prosecutions, although some people were fired. And it was the Session Justice dept. that settled the issue. No that, that makes a difference, just noting that fact.
How many IRS executives plead the 5th amendment to avoid testifying to Congress? Lois Lerner was one of them. She retired with full pension. [quote=āBorgia_dude, post:62, topic:214175ā]

Itās easy to avoid prosecution when you own the cops.
Next youāre going to tell me that Democrats in the old, deep south didnāt illegally persecute blacks because none of them were ever prosecuted.

No Iām simply not inclined to rehash everything thatās been said many times before here when this was a hot issue.
What data and what was destroyed? You seem lost.
Here you go:
Going back to LBJ (~53 years), there have been 25 years of Democrat presidents, and 28 years of republican presidents.
In the 25 years of D presidents, there have been a total of 3 executive branch officials indicted, with 1 conviction, and 1 prison sentence.
In the 28 years of R presidents, there have been a total of 120 indictments of executive branch officials, 89 convictions, and 34 prison sentences
The radical Democrats on this site cannot acknowledge that anyone on the left has EVER done anything wrong. Theyāre in total denial. They worship the Democratic Party. Trying to get an honest answer from them is like trying to get an honest answer from Baghdad Bob.

Did Hillary break the law?
Well so far all investigations have said no.
Plenty of bad Dems. Wiener, Jefferson come to mind. Here, I found a site for you that lists all the politicians convicted.
This list consists of American politicians convicted of crimes either committed or prosecuted while holding office in the federal government. It includes politicians who were convicted or pleaded guilty in a court of law; and does not include politicians involved in unprosecuted scandals (which may or may not have been illegal in nature), or politicians who have only been arrested or indicted. The list also does not include crimes that occur outside the politician's tenure unless they specific...

Thanks.
Of course, the topic of this thread is the corruption of Holder and Lynch, not whether or not they were prosecuted or even if they should have been prosecuted.
Why didnāt Lynch recuse herself from the Hillary investigation? It was highly anticipated that Hillary would win the presidency and would have been her boss. So why did she stay on?
Why did she meddle into the investigation of Hillary?
Why did she secretly meet with Bill Clinton?
Why are liberals here unwilling to acknowledge the sins of their own?
So itās LEGAL for federal employees to transmit classified documents through their Yahoo email accounts?
Yes weāve been over that. H ow did it destroy anything I said since I only responded to it.
Explain please.
Dude, you claimed Dems wouldnt acknowledge corruption within their own. You are quite wrong.
What did the investigations come up with?
And to delete subpoenaed emails and destroy the hard-drives and devices as well. Perfectly legal, no problem whatsoever.
