Were US embassies under threat from Soleimani?

Cheap answer. You know exactly what imminent means.

Don’t be insulting. Sure I do, it’s subjective. Again remember the hindsight from 9/11, Kenya, Benghazi.

Subjective to a degree perhaps, but it is still a very specific term. There ain’t no cleaning up the mess he made by using it short of proving it out. Even questionable evidence would mean something lol.

“They” both agree that our embassies were threatened.

Esper said “What I’m saying is that I shared the president’s view that probably — my expectation was they were going to go after our embassies”

Is it specific? What are the criteria?

That it will happen in the very near future without swift action.

Define “very near future”. Define “swift”.
Please.

Can you appreciate how important and tenuous some sources and methods in that region are?

I prefer they clam up unless it is need to know.

Like climate change?

No, you do not.

Nobody believes the imminent threat lie, either.

Why do you say that?

That isn’t how it works. There are no “children” over there.

Quite so.

I’d rather us be proactive than reactive.

None of us will ever be privy to the intelligence the CIC is privy to.

They are not going to give anyone in the press or public the details of the exact threats that had been identified nor should they.

To reveal same would jeopardize how the intel was gathered and the sources from whence it was derived.

There are people born without a mother? Weird…

Weird to paint the picture that we have children serving in the military

Quite so…

Too bad we can’t give this admin the benefit of the doubt. This is the consequence of the habitual lying by Trump.

Credibility?

Zero.

Zip.

Nada.
