There was a global financial crisis his entire 8 years? The debt went up 2015 to 2016 1.3 trillion dollars.
What financial crises was going on during that time?
The argument now is “we knew we would double the deficit to $1trillion the whole time - dont you remember us saying this?”

Why are you cherry picking years? Obama inherited a $1.3trillion deficit and 800,000 joba being lost. The 2 years that you mention $1.3trillion. So, Obama cut the deficit that he inherited in half without crashing the economy with drastic depression inducing GDP cuts, that wpuld have happened if the GOP did what they said should happen. When you add in the deficit as a % of GDP it gets even better. The GOP on the other hand, DOUBLES the deficit to $1trillion at full employment.

I do care about $1trillion deficits at FULL EMPLOYMENT. Thats a bit different than $1.3trillion deficits during a financial crisis with 800,000 jobs being lost a month.

The national debt on 9/30/15 at the end of the budget year was 18.1 trillion. National debt at the end of the budget year 9/30/16 19.5 trillion. So please for the love of god how can a so called budet defecit of 300 billion equal a 1.4 trillion increase in national debt?
