We Have the Worst New Media in the World

“Thanks so much, Karoline, both for having us and for granting me the first question here,” began Wexler tamely before declaring, to laughs, “And I can attest to the deportations in Florida, my Uber drivers finally speak English again, so thank you for that.”

Feed me more, mediaite.

This could be its own tv show.

  1. Sean Spicer, former White House press secretary, asks a question as a representative of “new media” — calls on old media to get the boot

I’m serious about the tv series.

LOL

“Thanks so much, Karoline — both for having us and for granting me the first question here,” Wexler said. “And I can attest to the deportations in Florida. My Uber drivers finally speak English again, so thank you for that.”

Weird.

Chuck Todd says it’s a right wing manufactured story that the left media failed to report on Biden’s failing capacity. It’s not their fault because they were tricked bu the likes of Schumer and Pelosi. It’s not quite clear why Biden’s declining capacity was caught by half the country but left wing media was so easily tricked.

Not only did they fail, but now they don’t have the capacity to admit their failure,

An interesting opinion piece:

The Cost of Arrogance: NPR’s undoing is a cautionary tale for the media

Some excerpts:

The state of American media was captured recently when the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association (and MSNBC correspondent) Eugene Daniels declared, “We are not the opposition.” Given the controversy that had occurred over the association originally booking a vehemently anti-Trump comedian for the dinner, it seemed more like a punchline than a plausible claim.

The undoing of American journalism began in “J-schools,” where young reporters were taught that the touchstones of neutrality and objectivity were no longer viable. At schools like the University of Texas, students are told that it is time to “leave neutrality behind.” Stanford journalism professor, Ted Glasser, has insisted that “journalists need to be overt and candid advocates for social justice, and it’s hard to do that under the constraints of objectivity.”

Editors soon picked up on the change and declared that “Objectivity has got to go” in hiring reporters committed to what I have called “advocacy journalism.”

Now that Fetterman has come out and said Democrats should not automatically attack everything,Trump, the left media has finally discovered that his stroke may have caused some brain damage. Back when he was running against a Republican for Senate, everything was fine and it was wrong to attack people because they had a stroke.

FoxNews:
“This week, New York magazine, as reliable a Democrat organ as there is, ran a scathing hit piece on Fetterman in which current and former staffers all but suggest that not only should he not be Pennsylvania’s senior senator, he belongs in an assisted living facility.
But why, one wonders, two years after waiving away similar behavior is a liberal news outlet suddenly parading the senator’s alleged diminished capacities? What changed?
Well, the article itself gives us a big hint with this line, “The endless fights over Israel, which saw Fetterman draw further into himself, coincided with setbacks in his recovery regimen.”
Likewise, his completely sane and rational position that not every utterance of President Donald Trump needs to be met with setting one’s hair on fire completely contradicts Democrats’ claims that Trump has already begun ushering in autocratic fascism.”

This is my favorite

conspiratorial thinking, megalomania (for example, he claims to be the most knowledgeable source on Israel and Gaza around but his sources are just what he reads in the news — he declines most briefings and never reads memos); high highs and low lows; long, rambling, repetitive and self-centered monologues lying in ways that are painfully, awkwardly obvious to everyone in the room.”

And yet when he was running against a Republican he was just fine. It was bigotry to notice he had trouble talking.

Todd is an obvious liar when he says the media was tricked about Biden’s failing mental capacities.

Everybody in America could see for themselves how bad Biden was.

They get an Emmy for deception???

You are right they are not even pretending anymore.

Yep exactly. A megalomaniac politician. Whoever heard of such a thing lol

Todd is admitting that if they couldn’t see what everyone else could see, then they were lying to themselves.

They could see it. I have no doubt. Every lib could. Not just the rest of the world.

They knew. They’ve always known. There was no “decline.” Biden has always been stupid.
