We Don’t Need to “Monkey this Up”

I’ll be the first to admit this defense holds water on the day we see footage of him using this term before.

Until then … no.

Libs are unhinged.

Either a poor choice of words or a shrewd one, depending on how you look at it.

Yep. Not even a poor choice of words. Just unhinged race obsessed libs. As is normal.

Even Fox News was like “Oh Hell no.”

Good on them.

Just dont refer to black folk as monkey or apes

This is the second very misleading headline The Hill has used today about this story.

This is what DeSantis actually said: “The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state.”

He’s talking about the agenda, not the candidate himself.

The choice of words was poor, but once again the left is in a meltdown claiming he’s racist or it’s a dog whistle or something.

He didn’t. but not surprising the left is trying to make it that way.

Let’s not monkey this up by electing a black guy to do blah.

Yeah. It’s not any better.

Its an incredibly poor choice of words, and he should have known better. Even Fox issued a statement regarding his words.

Or maybe you’re trying to argue it’s, “If we elect a black guy, he’ll monkey it up by doing blah.”

Or maybe “The black guy wants to do blah. Which will monkey it up.”

Seriously. There’s no way to crawl out of this.

Except he didn’t actually mention his opponent. He was talking about a socialist agenda.

The very misleading headlines are aiding the left too. This is what a lot of the media does, yet most libs won’t admit how biased they are.

Last night Martha McSally trounced her two opponents, both of whom got way more attention in the primary than she did. The reason of course is because both Ward and Sheriff Joe are nutty, and the media likes to portray all R voters as the same.

While talking about his African American opponent.

He wasn’t randomly talking about socialism, or Nancy Pelosi or generalized Democrats, he was talking about Andrew Gillum. Specifically, he was talking about the possibility of electing Andrew Gillum.

You can’t just pretend the context of his interview didn’t happen.

Well of course he wasn’t randomly talking about socialism… he was talking about how bad it would be if it was enacted in his own particular state. He’s running against a socialist, so it’s obvious that’s the agenda he’s going to attack.

What would DeSantis have actually gained if this was a deliberate dog whistle? Who wasn’t planning on voting for him in November who now will? Seems to me he would lose far more than he would gain.

talk about taking things out of context!

Never do. I don’t refer to anyone that way. Neither did the Republican candidate do so.
But thanks for the civil rights advice.

LOl Hilldogs aids referred to blacks as super predators and mexicans as taco bowls, Why the silence?
