Wayne County, Michigan refuses to certify election results

Okay, they originally refused to certify. No backsies.

What I find most disappointing is that this could change the result of the John James race.

A full audit is in order for Wayne County.

I don’t think it will change the Presidential race outcome.

It should be an embarrassment to see how the election officials were treated and it will have a strong negative impact on getting people to work elections. Who needs it? The mob wins anyway.

Good luck with that…

Threats aside, as those are never kosher, they deserved any and all ridicule for trying to disenfranchise an entire county on partisan grounds.

Trump won’t get a different result in MI.

John James could…here is his campaign statement.

That is not what is being debated.

The registered vs cast ballots look out of line.

Focus.

The people decided. Trump lost. Hopefully GOP sycophants won’t be so emboldened when Trump is finally out of office.

Are these irregularities any different from years past?

People who truly have a vested interest in undermining our political systems are watching these events carefully…if this is indeed not a systematic testing of our safeguards to see how easy they are to overwhelm.

But at a minimum…yes…when one has loyalty to a personality or a party that trumps any loyalty to country or democracy, and when one can be brought to believe Narratives without evidence, then our Republic is in grave danger.

That is the question at hand. They may not be, no need to threaten anyone over asking and questioning.

An audit really must happen now. More so for how the election workers were treated. That was inexcusable.

I think John James may have been the victim here. Let’s make it all sound and above reproach.

They are out of line by, at most, about 400 votes.

And these supposedly concerned GOP board members were ready to certify the entire county except for Detroit…when the irregularities were worse in areas of the county other than Detroit.

Finally, we’ve had someone who lives in Michigan weigh in here. Audits are done after every election.

So no…this was not concerned board members.

This was a partisan stunt.

And it’s being watched carefully.

John James is full of ■■■■ and should accept his loss gracefully. If he wants a recount, he can pay for one. Otherwise, he needs to stop putting pressure on government mechanics that were never meant to be political.

John James lost by ~93,000 votes so no…his results will not be overturned either.

The two Republicans said they certified the vote because their families have been threatened but are now they’re taking it back.

There is no mechanism for un-voting. They should have stood strong.

No. ■■■■ them. They were willing to certify other cities with more errors and issues. They didn’t want Detroit because they were being partisan or worse. They got called out on it during the meeting.

Taking what back? Their vote to certify or that they had been threatened?

That article is about Democrats who were threatened for speaking out against the hold up of certification.

There is no uncertifying the election. It took place and was certified it has now progressed along the road.

They tried to amend their approval after President Trump called one of them expressing concern over the death threats. Like he did with Governor Whitmer. How good of him.

A sitting President calling up individual canvassers who then try to backtrack their approval. That’s normal.

I wonder what they were promised?
