I still can’t figure out your problem with people standing on the edge of the street during a parade. Not like there is normal traffic.

A lot could have been avoided if they didn’t have people sitting in chairs three and four deep from the sidewalk into the street.
And I think you know me better than to think I’m being cruel. Zan…I do risk management type work for a living…and that jumps out at me. Forgive me if that was my first thought when I’m trained to look at root causes.
Occupational Hazzard. Just forget I said anything. Pointed out an obvious flaw. It’s all good. But I bet parades have contingency plans for this in the future.
The problem is they cheaped out on the barriers, my town has steel poles that slot into the road surface that we use for such events, he couldn’t have broken through those. And we mill all around the street eating funnel cake. This guy isn’t the first to pull a stunt like this, so it’s not like we didn’t know it could happen.
And the left is providing an awful lot of anger, fear and hatred to wallow in. If you want the cycle to end, end that.

My guess is that you know exactly what his problem is. You’re just too kind to say it. 
Point taken but they probably wasn’t expecting what came, why would they these type events are common in Europe but rare here. I don’t want us to turn into Western Europe and how they handle Christmas events with special police forces and concrete barriers to prevent the next psycho who decides to mow people down.
