Washington Post Refuses to Endorse Anyone for Pres

Wow… Kamala must be doing a bang-up job if WaPo can’t even bring themselves to endorse her over Trump.

Nice to see that Keith Olbermann is taking this well.

Not as big a story as you think. From reading the editorial

The Washington Post will not be making an endorsement of a presidential candidate in this election. Nor in any future presidential election. We are returning to our roots of not endorsing presidential candidates.

Though from reading the comments attached to the article many readers are angry so maybe its just me that doesnt care who a newspaper does or does not endorse.

Even the liberal stalwarts and bastions are running away from this flaming turd of a candidate.

Can’t all be a coincidence.

The Washington Post trying to create the illusion of an independent journalism organization. Even more evidence they have a good idea where this election is headed and don’t want to be tied to it.

And if Harris wins in November you will use all of this evidence for election fraud.

Right now its a complete coin toss who will win. I think it will be decided by those who still have not made up their mind.

Newspapers really shouldn’t be endorsing candidates. Thank you Kamala for nudging them back.

It’s not a big deal, of course.

But the far left is completely unhinged over this (and everything else in the universe  )

“Democracy dies in the darkness!!!”

Jeff Bezos blocked the endorsement and rightly so.

The LA Times has refused to endorse Harris as well.

More rats are leaving a sinking ship . . .

USA Today is also not endorsing anyone for POTUS.

Libs are now saying Trump forced Washington compost editorial board to not endorse Vice President Kamala Harris.

I remember an article several months ago where new management at the Washington Post said journalist needed to reign in their political opinions. The journalists stated that they didn’t want to do that before the election. The response was that they were writing their opinions but not many people were reading them

You know why those people were reading the Post. They liked being in the leftist bubble.

Sorry wrong article… I was speaking in regard to the article that 200,000 subscribers canceled after this.

I don’t mind if journalists express their opinions. Quite the contrary, I like reading those from both sides.

Even if that’s the case, it’s a black eye for the paper. The editorial side of the Post planned to endorse her; Bezos stepped in and axed it. That border-crossing is always going to be problematic. It’s a terrible look, especially if (quid pro quo or not) Blue Origin executives are meeting with Trump at the same time. By way of example: The New York Post editors endorsed Trump this year. If one of the Murdochs had spiked the endorsement while the company was schmoozing with Harris, that would look weird, too.

It’s also only a day or two after Trump, who regularly threatens media companies and journalists, said that 60 Minutes profile of Harris was the “biggest scandal I have ever seen for a broadcaster. 60 Minutes, I think it should be taken off the air, frankly." Bezos appears to be preemptively acquiescing to this kind of ■■■■■ But, hey: Go fash, lose cash.
