Sorry I failed. Downloaded Resident Evil 9 and played it on the Switch 2 during my son’s nap time today.
By the way, can I say that the Switch 2 port of the game is shockingly good. I mean it’s not the PC port with its glorious path tracing and it’s not the PS5 port but damn it’s shockingly good. Even maintains 60fps most of the time.

Yepp and the story is still all kind of bonkers. Hasn’t changed in that regard.
Nailed it that time! You see, folks, a little discipline goes a long way. 
Beat Resident Evil 9. No joke it’s probably the best game I’ve played that was released in the last five years. Capcom knocked it out of the park by combining the two wings of resident evil into one game. When you play as Grace it’s very similar to resident evil 7. When you’re playing as Leon it’s Resident Evil 4 again. They also brought back more of the 90s action hero corniness in the game’s feel which is just fantastic. It’s also perfectly paced which is a rarity for modern big budget games these days. It never drags, even during the intentionally slower Grace sections.
Also it now has my new favorite fictional firearm. The Requiem, which is a chunk of a revolver that fires .50 BMG rounds. Yes in reality it would shatter your wrist into a million pieces but the entire concept is just so stupid that I love it.
