Elder Scrolls Oblivion remaster dropped today. Its on Gamepass so I will be jumping into that.
Also playing Blue Prince - fantastic rogue type puzzler where you have to uncover rooms to discover the secret of the house. Very addictive. You can only take so many steps each day and then have to restart. RNG is frustrating at times but nothing too crazy.
Craving new bridge builders lately, so I’ve been playing Poly Bridge. Currently on Poly Bridge 3, just completed my first (and very strict) Workshop level.
All three are currently on sale.

Currently playing Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2.
Playing Kart World and Tears of the Kingdom. The graphics upgrade is very noticeable on ToTW
I was just about to mention the steam sale. I have been playing Dredge which is a cozy fishing game with a splash of Cthulhu.
I decided to buy a Legion Go but will grab a Switch 2 at some point.
How is Cyberpunk? I have it on Xbox, PS5 and PC . I am a CP2077 fanboy. Its the only game i have completed multiple times.
It’s surprisingly close to the Series S version. I’d say visually it’s close. Traffic and pedestrian density is similar to the PS4 version. CDPR did good optimizing it. It runs at a stable 40 fps with good image quality whether handheld or docked. Only complaint I have about it is more a problem with the game itself than the version. Boy this game’s shooting mechanics is some real EuroJank and that’s hard to deal with when playing in handheld. On the tv with my pro controller, that’s not an issue. I haven’t tried the mouse controls on it yet.
Mario Kart World Online Knockout Tour is straight crack ain’t it?
So addicting lol
I have found that being in first before the very end of the race is a bad place to be though. This game spams Blue Shells to the folks in the back way more than Mario Kart 8 did.
I am thinking of getting the ASUS ROG Ally Z1 extreme, to replace my little Surface Go which was very limited for games with a mediocre processor. Anyone have the ASUS?
Apparently you can get the ASUS Extreme one with 2 TB drive and 24 gigs ram. I will go for that.
My only issue is using it for my kindle when reading books on my side in bed at night. The Surface has a case with a kick stand that works for side sleeping or horizontal. The Asus only has cases with kickstand in regular horizontal mode.
My Surface Go has win 10 and Asus has win 11 and win10 is expiring soon.
The touch screen on the Old Surface is dying. I know it and it knows it. The Asus can also run Linux dual boot or on a USB key. Using my big Desktop isn’t always necessary. Gotta check if the ASUS has blue tooth.
My post above had no takers, I went to best buy and looked at it. Nice for kids I guess. I bought an Alienware laptop instead, to match my desktop. This old Surface Go has it’s uses, but I think it’s overheating and the battery is probably dying. I can try restoring it.
The are zero laptop holders that work for side sleepers wanting to read themselves to sleep. There’s a business opportunity. I’ve already sent back 2 monitor arms/laptop trays.
That would require a vertical screen orientation and buckles to hold a big laptop on a tray.
I’ve spent a few weeks looking and there is nothing that works. I have a shipment today with buckles and a strap. It might work. This new laptop is heavy and a 16". I don’t know if it will like being open and rotated. At least it’s not a touch screen. I lose the pen all the time.
Sorry I’m on my bike so not trying well.
The top grabbers can be rotated.
Instead of a laptop you might think of a cheap tablet for bed time reading.
I use mine for YT videos with an iPad all the time.

I had a cheap tablet with the surface go It’s win 10 and no win 11 upgrade possible. I have other uses planned for the new laptop and will know by tomorrow if the Suptek tray and monitor arm. will work. I have a chrome cart with wheels and will mount it on the table top and see if it works. The Suptek seems to be the only tray that might have sufficient strap/buckles to hold a heavy laptop sideways and bring it close enough for side sleeping with landscape orientation. The new win 11 laptop machine is a clone of my desktop. I’m glad I didn’t buy the Asus Rog handheld.
