Never heard of him, I don’t watch any YouTube in terms of content creators if he is on there.
Some Twitch but that’s mostly for tournament play.
I just feel Bethesda games lack polish in general, dunno maybe it’s the engine they run their games on.
I’ve had it with windows. I have to try and see if my High End video and audio software works good now on emulators. What about the few games like Warcraft, I play. Will they slow way down on my very fast computer? I finally was able to remove MSN mostly, but Microsoft keeps trying to put it back.
I bought top shelf DDR4 architecture after DDR5 came out for clearance prices. It’ll carry me on high settings all the way until DDR6 is released. WC3 works flawlessly.
Audio drivers and audiovideo interfaces are very picky. I haven’t tried going back to a Linux for years-- last time the latency was terrible and unusable.
But now I am fed up.
You won’t be able to run Direct X and have to use Vulkan if you utilize Linux.
If you like to get technical and have the know how you could have Direct X run on Linux but it is not natively supported.
I don’t think all games support Vulkan, WoW I believe does not natively but I could be wrong.
What video card do you have in your rig?
High end Nvidia and some capture cards
You should be fine making the switch, you might just have some headaches in terms of drivers as mentioned.
But Nvidia has full Vulkan API support
I shouldn’t have to be bothered by the “woke” Neo- Microsoft garbage, but I will have to try. It’s pretty sad trying to find ways to get rid of AI chat-bot and MSN news feed. The user base is up in arms and Microsoft cares not.
Having to argue with AI chat bots is idiotic.
I have about had it with Blizzard as well, I may have to cut the cord after all these years.

I have no idea I assume it’s some sort of browser plug-in or overlay.
I disable all bloatware on my PC
It’s Microsoft Win 10 and 11 using Edge and Bing which is now fused and the AI CHAT Bot is fully integrated into it—and the entire internet as is, will be as bad as the New York City flooding. It’s totalitarian. Google and Apple are just quiet about it but they have already been exploiters. Microsoft used to be more independent but no more.
In the past Microsoft left things open to people to decide, but no more.
How long before Linux is also controlled?
Personally I hate edge, chrome and safari too much bloat.
I have been a long term user of FireFox and I love it.
It forces the use of Google as the search engine.

There is also a DuckDuckGo browser, hope you find something that works for you @rp5x5 rather then going through the hassle of switching your OS.
Changing search engines is possible in Edge, Firefox and Opera…until you try to do it. Syncing passwords and clouds are also said to be safely do-able until you try to do it.
Startpage, DDG, Brave all have major issues. All rely on ad revenue, OR exploits, all rely on Google Chrome and the same extensions. Clickbait ads, exploits and “news” written by bots grows like fungus in the dark and is currently over the top, but can get much worse. Tor is pathetic
Search ranking scam strategies bury your specific searches and force you to wade through automatic search ranking ad copy. The internet is a disaster. Social Media are like artificial watering holes in the center of Hades.
All the security suites are in reality, helping keep the deep web alive. You are bought and sold in the baboon slave trade.
I have all my stuff detached from Google, can’t stand em.
If you have the will power to learn some basic technical know how you can too.
But to completely sever you might as well throw your PC in the trash but before you do can I have your GPU?
