Yeah, was that 2018 admission by the Iranian in the 9-11 report??
Iran and Hezobolah had no idea that the 9/11 attacks were being planned. As the 9/11 report does say, even though there was some effort to try to strengthen ties between Iranian and Bin Laden, Bin Laden rejected those efforts because he didn’t want to alienate his support from radicals in Saudi Arabia.
The absolutely crazy thing in the past couple of decades is that the blame for 9/11 has been placed on everyone but the country that had the most involvement in it.
In fact, we allow that country to kill off a US based foreign journalist and look the other way.
But sure… lets blame Iran. It will work as well as blaming Iraq.

Russia knew about this in advance? Who is saying that exactly? Not disputing it, I’ve been kind of out of the loop, but that sounds like kind of a big deal.
He probably didn’t even know it was a lie. More “reasonable” or not, he drinks the Trump kool aid and runs in those circles.

I thought someone had mentioned Trump had been discussing the order with Russia prior to issuing it. I could be mistaken.
I find it interesting though that the Russian media is putting this out: (7 hours ago)

Makes me think maybe Trump got played by Russia. Again.

Unfortunately, that is possible. Surely someone with more knowledge would have said something, but Trump is known for ignoring people “like that”. Time will tell.

I mean it kind of makes sense. I believe Trump would actually be dumb enough to contact Russia prior to giving the order and ask them for advice. Russia backs Iran. What better opportunity than to tell Trump issuing the order is a good idea, let the US lose a strategic ally (and position) now that it’s looking like we’re also soon to be asked to leave Iraq. I use asked loosely of course. Then put out the false narrative that he was set up by the Deep State (Intelligence Agencies) who have been looking to take him down since he was elected? I mean it almost sounds like it’s straight out of a Clancy novel.
I’m not sure how the trying to tie Soleimani to 9/11 fits into this but given this is unusual from Pence, I’m guessing he didn’t come up with the idea.

How would this support Trump being played by Russia?
Seems like if anything he got played by hawks within his own military or intelligence apparatus.
How would it not? If Russia really wants to destroy us, and they could convince our own President to alienate our allies and foster further distrust in us how is that not a huge win for them exactly? Then lay the blame solely at the feet of the incompetent President claiming he put out the order merely to distract from his impeachment, adding that he was gullible enough to be tricked by his own intelligence agencies. Seems pretty ■■■■■■■ brilliant, honestly.
