Yes, we exported more than we imported. And as such some folks would say we were energy neutral or export positive. But it is difficult to say that we were “energy independent”.

Of course we did. Remember that a lot of the oil that is domestically produced can only be used for bi-products rather than gasoline or fuel oil. And many times the cost to import foreign oil is cheaper than using and shipping domestic oil.

I have never been as ashamed of our federal government as I am right now. The corrupted FBI and CIA who were never elected and yet running afoul of Congress, considering themselves to be above the law of the land…with no oversight. A ■■■■■■■ POTUS that can’t even speak coherently with Brandonites leading their lives by their feelings, ignoring that our southern border is being overrun by illegal aliens that are being shipped by our corrupted federal government all around the country during the middle of the night. Our largest cities turning into fecal wastelands of homelessness and youth violence…all while the basic family unit is disintegrating. What the hell is happening and do you care?
