I’ll accept this. But the GOP could end this quickly if the GOP leadership in the state house wrote a friend of court brief saying they are good with the votes.

Was the legal process for approving this method a usurpation of the Legislature’s power? It’s a good legal question?

Beyond the legal question, the people who cast their votes this way stand a chance that their vote will be invalidated. Are you fine with that?

They are wrong, and have never read the constitution. The Congress has the authority and some states people’s do as well. This has already been ruled on.
