I think Bezos buying the WP is terrible.
I’m not sure I care about Musk buying twitter. I mean, we’re already into oligarch territory with this guy, and I do think total, no limits, porn, lies and threats of violence isn’t a great thing for the country, but let’s face it…that’s where we are heading with social media.
I have to think about it a little more, but I’m not sure there is a difference between having that discourse on 4chan vs twitter.

We went through this the other day. Countless well-known wingnuts and Republican randos are discussing Hunter’s laptop, Qanon, the fact that Democrats are pedos, and other hot GOP topics on Twitter right now. We’ve yet to determine what “conservative” positions conservatives want to espouse that they are not allowed to. That’s because the complaining is the point.
