With the rhetorical berating he has taken via the media and pop culture anything over 4% is impressive.
He has been hit with everything they have and still hovers near 50%.

Citing Trump’s character does not dispel Gabbard’s.
The problem is, his lies are distinguishable from the lies of the rest of them only in that they are mostly pointless, inconsistent and amateurish. Lying is endemic in the Washington DC political culture, yet you act as though Trump is the first and only politician to lie. You would be better served if you acknowledged that reality.
And who in national politics today stands up to your ideals?
