Academics have turned others against the population much more frequently and recently.

Sure. Academics who disguise themselves as populists are even worse. They have done a lot of damage too. That doesn’t make it any better really.

???
“While homicides have continued to rise in big cities through the first half of 2021, the rate of increase has slowed, according to the criminologist Richard Rosenfeld, who has been tracking changes in crime throughout the pandemic. A study looking at a subset of 29 US cities through the end of June showed homicide up 16% this year, he said.”
That’s a 16% increase over last years 30% increase.

This years (2021) murder rate has been released yet (mainly because the year is not up yet. Lol.
The facts show however that the data was released for 2020, you know trump was president and the murder rate showed a marked increase from 2019.
Allan
Infrastructure bills have been pursued before Covid.

The most recent release by the NYPD.
Do you see the figures and do you see the YTD figures -11
Let’s see what that means in layman’s terms you will understand.
Murder is DOWN in NYC for 2021 so far.

The way I see it, the economy is booming AND we need infrastructure spending to ensure a long term thriving economy, not just a short term post covid bump.
I think we would be well served by a stronger infrastructure long term.
You?

If it is booming then we don’t need to spend money to keep it going.
Infrastructure would be great. Maybe the Dems in charge should actually write it up and keep out everything else.
