The states and the people that formed the US never agreed to the system of electing the President that you refer to as “the will of the people”. That is an elementary school concept of “fair”. If you like that method, then the alternatives of amending the Constitution, which will include the consent of many of the states that would lose influence; or dissolving the country and creating a new one that follows the rules you consider fair.
It obviously bothers you a lot that Hillary won the popular votes seeing how hard you are trying to rewrite history. Trump won the electoral vote but lost the popular vote. There is other way to spin it without fabricating reality.

It’s not undervalued. It’s irrelevant under the system we use to elect a president. Hillary could have one by 10 million votes nationally and still have lost the presidency IF the electoral college comes out the other way.
Trump got more total votes than Hillary in 49 states, won 7 out of the 10 largest states in population. All Hillary got was 4 million more votes in CA a not job state full of weirdos.
