These are people who believe anything he says. They believe that a big part of the wall has been built already because he told them so(even though no new wall has been built). He can tell them that he shut down the border(even if he hasn’t) and they will believe him. Or like he declared that North Korea was no longer a threat, boom it’s real. So next week he just says that Mexico stepped up and stopped the invasion of illegals and they’ll be happy.
Or repeal and replace or release FISA warrants or…
I thought Borders was already shut down, and it was Bezos who did it. Poor Trump, being bested by the Bezos again.

Yes, if the democrats are not going to take the escalation at the border seriously that the problem is so big it has overwhelmed border agents and their solution as Pelosi said $1 dollar for a wall.
The wall might not be super popular on polling but border security is and people don’t think the democrats are serious on the border. When even WAPO is having to report on it there are two democratic candidates on record saying they would like to tear down the existing walls.

Just a wild guess here, but I’m thinking start the application process for approval of asylum? Again, just a wild crazy guess.
Absolutely. Coming and going. Shut down all ports of entry. All pedestrian crossings. All car and truck crossings. All rail crossings. All flights entering the USA from points south of our border.
Shut them all down!
Then place troops along the border to kill on sight any invaders.

According to Rep Cuellar, it’s about $1.3B per day.
Donald was musing earlier this week about how effective machine guns were at borders. Maybe he needs to deploy them at the border hotspots. Minefields would work for the remainder.
No wall covering the entire border needed, and much cheaper.
Judges, Agents and Courts. That is how to deal with this crisis. A wall isn’t going to address this problem.

It happened here in San Diego for a few hours. Closing the border for days would be devastating for the economy here and in Tijuana.
