Trump wants to ban flavored ecigs

I might take a few “business trips” to more enlightened states occasionally myself…

I have no doubt I’d be dead today if it weren’t for vaping. If our benevolent government regulates it out of existence they’ll be guilty of mass murder. But who are we kidding, they’ve been in bed with big tobacco from the start and already are.

Taking a draw on a device that most people would never recognize as an e-cig in honor of your declaration… :grinning::grinning:

Don’t worry, the process for “rolling your own” is easy and just requires a few extra steps…

That’s not what dildos are for, but you do you, Tex…

Interesting story. I was in Vegas last year for a conference. A friend of mine went to a dispensary and wanted company. I went with her. When we walked back into the Bellagio, a dog sniffed her out. Security took her purchase and then explained that what she purchased was legal in the state of Nevada, but you can not legally possess it in a casino on the strip.

Nevada is the WORST state for special business trips…

Until they ban nicotine liquid altogether. Unless it’s contained in a government approved, taxed and regulated big tobacco e-cig cart.

Bah - you defend him daily.

I defend him when he is accused of nonsense, I excoriate him when he does something stupid, like this.

Slow down buckaroo…I’m not for banning either one. Regulating it and laws aimed at keeping it away from minors are OK with me. The Hypocrisy (and whole point of my thread) is the right won’t dare stand up to sociopath in White House on this. Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

Are you serious or joking?

Just so you know…nicotine causes your arteries to become sticky. Vaping nicotine does nothing to help the cardiovascular damage. It perhaps will help against lung cancer but even then the jury is still out on lung damage.

From my cardiologist after I had two stents installed and was vaping instead of smoking.

It needs to be done, causing way too many problems.

Oh sticky, sounds sciency. Nicotine is no worse for you than caffeine, it isn’t the nicotine in cigarettes that kills people, its all the other ■■■■■

“A Juul spokesman told CNBC on Wednesday, “We strongly agree with the need for aggressive category-wide action on flavored products. We will fully comply with the final FDA policy when effective.””

Cigarette companies aren’t even trying any more. Where’s the old “there is no evidence this is bad for you” spirit of yesteryear?

They have enough money to jump through any additional regulatory hurdles, their potential competitors do not.

You are wrong.

This whole, they use candy flavors to attract children thing drives me nuts. Yeah, no adults like fruit or desert flavors. When are we banning fruit and dessert flavored alcohol by the way? Hell, when are we banning actual dessert? Sugar kills a hell of a lot more people than nicotine does.
