It’s simple. She delivers what the State wants. In other words, she does the job she was hired to do.
Not just the handouts. As I said, other than her pro-choice abortion stand and that she despises Trump (which a lot of Republicans do whether they support him or not) her positions on policy and regulation are solidly pro-Alaska. And it’s like I said, Americans overall have a very low opinion of Congress, but they consistently support their own representatives if they support the State from which they are elected.
And that was in spite of Alaskans knowing that he’s an ass. We voted for Trump because he is good for Alaska and Biden/Harris were an unmitigated disaster. Well, except for his idiotic “change Denali back to McKinley” nonsense. He in no uncertain terms is being criticized soundly around here for that.
Which just goes to show how far left the Democratic Party is.

it was and is meaningless. Smith is not now and never was any sort of prosecutor. he was and is a civilian who was given unlawful authority to attack one man for electoral purposes.

You are aware that he actually was a US District attorney in multiple jurisdictions for many years right? So for quite some time he was a kind of prosecutor. Not to mention his international prosecutor roles. You are aware of that right?
Sort of like hiring an ex-cop to arrest people even though he no longer wears a badge.
