Trump Tower meeting Russian lawyer admits she was paid informant to the Kremlin

It’s also not what led to the FISA warrant. It was but 1 piece of a body of evidence that included intelligence from our allies

Hilary paid her lawyer to get dirt on Trump, correct? You seem to acknowledge everyone in the loop who was being paid by Hilary for dirt on Trump, but you stop at Steele, why?

Hilary did not directly pay fusion either, her lawyer did. Once Hilary paid her lawyer to dig up dirt on Trump, she authorized everyone else in the chain, Fusion GPS, Perkins-Coie, Steele, and his informants. You cannot simply cut the line of people off at a convenient spot, they were all paid by Hilary, and she benefited from their contributions.

Clinton’s campaign and the D.N.C., hired their law firm, Perkins Coie, who hired Fusion GPS, who hired Mr. Steele, who paid Russians inside the Kremlin to gather information against Trump. It’s in the report. Just because the money was washed thru multiple hands, does not make any of this untrue.

You libs got him this time.

It’s in the dossier, that Steele used a “a former top-level Russian intelligence officer still active inside the Kremlin.”

Are you saying that since we do not know for certain that Steele paid his sources money, that it sanitizes the fact that Hilary’s opposition research used information from Russians inside the Kremlin?

If you are claiming that Hilary’s chain of employees or retainers, did not pay Russians for the dirt she received on Trump, that it makes what Hilary did okay? Then why all the fuss over Natalia V. Veselnitskaya? She was never even offered any money by Trump’s campaign.

Why would they offer her money when she was working on behalf of the Russian government? That makes no sense.

Might also ad that this payment was through a law firm and that the expenses were misrepresented as “legal expenses” for the Hillary campaign. Where are the knocks on the doors of that law firm to collect all their documents?

From the NYTIMES October 24th 2017

The letter that was filed in court said that Fusion GPS began working for the law firm, Perkins Coie, in April 2016. Written by the firm’s general counsel, Matthew J. Gehringer, the letter said that Fusion GPS had already been conducting the research “for one or more other clients during the Republican primary contest.”

Perkins Coie was paid $12.4 million to represent the Clinton campaign and the D.N.C. during the 2016 campaign, according to filings. The role of the Clinton campaign and the national party in funding the research for the dossier was first reported on Tuesday by The Washington Post.

But in April 2016, Fusion was hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee to keep funding the research. (Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained the firm.)

Steele, by his own account, was sufficiently alarmed by what he had been told by his Russian sources that in early July he sought out a contact in the FBI, located in Rome, to supply the memo and other information.

`In his testimony, Simpson revealed that Steele at one point broke off communications with the FBI after the New York Times published an article saying the agency had found little evidence of ties between Trump and Russia.

I am not sure how people can deny that the Clintons Campaign took over payment and research of the Steel Dossier.

So we know Steel had Ties to Russia spy’s and officials.
We know Law Steel was working with Fusion GPS
Clinton Campaign paid Lawfirm to contact Fusion GPS on the Dossier
So Clinton Campaign apparently was working with Russia by Proxies as well.

The point is, this thread is trying to make a huge deal out of Don Jr. meeting with a Russian lawyer, who says she was an informant to the Kremlin. she provided no dirt on Hilary, was never offered to be paid anything.

Meanwhile, various actors paid by Hilary contacted top-level Russian intelligence officer still active inside the Kremlin, to provided, and most likely to be paid, for dirt against Trump which was used to damage him as president.

  1. A Russian civilian who was not paid, and provided no information on Hilary

Compared to:

  1. A Russian intelligence officer working in the Kremlin, possibly paid, and did provide dirt on Trump.

So, which of these two are we supposed to care about? The one that provided nothing, or the one whose “salacious” information has been used by opponents of Trump and the press to hammer the president with??

You should take that up with Trump’s Department of Justice

Seriously - do we know that Steele paid russians? Without that this is a moot point.

lol. You don’t know who offered and delivered what as a result of that meeting. All we know is Jr. lied about it - once with the help of dad - twice.

Sigh…if you had a clue even the gop admitted they weren’t looking for collusion…they didnt interview everyone and they weren’t looking…

This is just sad

in their case, ignorance is bliss

But you wrote:

which, since you’ve read the New Yorker piece on Steele and his memos, you know isn’t a truthful statement.

It’s really become a waste of time to even bother with them…all they do is lie and leave out facts…its Hillary non stop for these folks as well…its a serious condition they have…

Meanwhile this happens…and it just gets worse and worse for trump

this is the kind of information that Mueller has to investigate and why this kind of investigation takes so long. he’s dealing with entities from other countries who have zero incentive to cooperate. and we all know that people here being investigated aren’t going to cooperate. they’re just gonna protect themselves.

Of course the Kremlin connected lawyer wasn’t paid, you don’t pay negotiators. Any deal made would of been between the Trump campaign and the Russian government and we’ve yet to see that proven one way or the other. That’s why it’s being investigated

Nothing happened, except in your alls mind. NOthing happened. This does not indicate that neither Trump nor anyone in his campaign did anything wrong. They just met with that person, and we all knew that. There is and never has been a “drip, drip, drip”.

It has not been proven, one way or the other, that Hillary is a Russian spy. You can just make stuff up about anyone and then say “it has not been proven, one way or the other”.

Again. Take that up with Trump’s Dept. of Justice as there is nothing stopping them from investigating the matter
