He explicitly said he wants to take the oil over and over. Would you like the quotes? There’s no wiggle room here. He said it.
Do we have that oil or not? E-85 is hovering at 2 bucks a gallon, give or take a dime. I’d never complain about gas again at $1.50 per gallon.
You explicitly took him literally. Trump is almost never literal. As someone else said earlier, when he has tankers loaded up with Syrian oil and sent to America, we can discuss war crimes.
Most people would like to do a lot of things they can’t because those things are illegal.

Of course I know it, and so do you. The intent of the troops redeploying from the northern border area to the oil fields was made perfectly clear at the time they deployed there. To protect the fields from ISIS sabotage. Which is exactly what Trump was talking about when he so inarticulately said “we took the oil.”
