Trump’s comments mark the first time the president has openly and directly praised a violent act against a journalist on American soil

Asking questions warrants assault.

Journalist are the enemy.

Asking the same question that has already been answered over and over while invading personal space can.

Some people have a low tolerance for rude.

In many cases.

So body slamming a journalist is fine, but asking a senator questions in an airport is an angry mob?

In that case, it’s a wonder you don’t get body slammed more often.

Yeah… totally deserves assault for using words.

Freeberty!!!

I’m not a pencil necked reporter. It helps if you can actually do it.

Violence is patriotic when republicans do it. Rudeness is violence when liberals do it.

Praising violence while accusing others of violence is so hypocritical

Words have consequences. I can use words to get you to commit misdemeanor assault on me.

So violence is ok against weaker people?

Boy, my estimation of your character is just skyrocketing today.

Violence resolves things.

You don’t body slam a man who is carrying if you want to live. Some people welcome the opportunity to stand their ground.

The reporter was rude, not violent.

And then the crowd went wild.
Since their orange messiah has deemed this permissible, now it’s okay.

This is America…

The reporter should have used his 2nd amendment remedy

Ah! Excellent! Would he have been justified?

I agree. If the reporter had been carrying, he would have been legally justified in shooting at and killing his attacker. This is America.

I think that Trump should institute Punch a Reporter Day.

I think it would relieve a lot of stress for a lot of people at the expense of increased stress for an insignificant subset of society.

It would be a stress shift, and it would increase society’s overall health and happiness.

Stress kills.
