Trumpās strategy is pretty simple at this point. Maintain fevered engagement and participation of his fringe base (a small minority of the country) at near 100%. Do this by spraying a constant fire hose of lies and propaganda. This base group is very easily excited and gullible; they are already prone to xenophobia, white nationalism and racism, and they immediately believe anything Trump says. They are invincibly ignorant. Armed with a small (but motivated and politically participatory base), Trump can stay in power indefinitely. As long as the silent, sleeping majority of Americans stay sleeping and donāt participate in politics, Trump wins. Heās counting on that, because if thereās even a small activation of the majority, heās doomed (e.g., 2018 mid term results).

I was reading the Post interview with him. If any other president spoke in this weird, disjointed way, Iād assume he or she was drunk or having some kind of stroke. If I had any elderly relative who talked like this, Iād be looking into some kind of intervention.

Coulter was on Breibart this morning and both she and the presenter Alex Marlow agreed that Trumpās tweets have to stop and they both agreed that Trump is not doing enough to get his agenda completed.
Marlow said that at first he loved Trumps tweets because he was so different from any other politician but now not so much.It was a fascinating discussion to hear two stalwart Trump supporters be so critical of him.
Coulter also commented that she does not really care for Trumps vulgar approach. She used the word vulgar not me. She admitted at first (once again) it was what attracted to Trump the politician because it was just so different but now it seems that really is as deep as he goes. She also said how she has given up on thinking that Trump is acting and thinking in some multi-dimensional way.
Obviously neither he or Coulter are going to be moving to the left any time soon but it was really interesting to hear such a critical discussion of Trump happen on Breitbarts flagship breakfast time show.
