Trump offical facebook AD removed due to nazi comparisons

It’s so easy. They do all the work for you, if you give them the slightest bit to go on. Hell they do the work if you do nothing f. Might as well nudge them a bit.

Yeah, that must be it…

The obvious answer is that it was just one shape you could use, and then found some extremists were all hopped up about it being some sort of symbol.
IMO, just another conspiracy theory created by the left.
No doubt the country is filled with statue hating Democrats who are now outraged about a colored shape that meant nothing to them a day ago.

88 ads, 14 word sentences, this has to be a massive troll.

They’re just shapes! Just random shapes!

So… you’re going with the “it was just a randomly selected piece of clip art”?

You know the campaign has to pay extra for the picture, right?

The symbol has many meanings and the context is ambiguous, but the Facebook censors have a bias that sees the worst interpretation.

I suspect that the Trump campaign is crazy like a fox since it gets a whole lot of free advertising with the removal and resulting outrage from the news media.

So lemme make sure I’ve got this right…Nazi references are now banded from Facebook? Wow…there goes 99.999999999999999% of lib rhetoric…amirite? :sunglasses:

It’s hilarious and sad

The red triangle has a pretty clear meaning to anyone who took grade 8 history

I minored in history in college. Not one course had anything about an inverted red triangle. It was not a generally known symbol of anything until Facebook pretended it was.
Your statement is just not correct.

I find it hard to believe that you were unaware until today that the Nazis identified the different sets of prisoners in the camps with badges.

No doubt you’ve heard of the “yellow star”. The pink triangle?

I’m sorry but I find this very hard to believe. You minored in history and did not know about one of the most used identifying symbols on prisoners at Dachau? The first of the Nazi concentration camps.

A red triangle that marked ‘political prisoners’ was also the most common category of prisoners registered at the German Nazi Auschwitz camp. I assume you’re familiar with Auschwitz and the horrors that occurred there?

In 1944, political prisoners constituted 95 percent of camp prisoners’. A letter inside the triangle would mark the nationality.

Are you sure you just don’t remember from your college days? Because these images are seared into my brain and will always be something I’ll never forget.
