Trump is vindicated, found not guilty in the Senate. What next?

No, you just misinterpreted what you read and quoted.

He said “cleared of suspicion”.

That’ll never happen with the TDSers.

What next? A continued barrage of charges and negativity from the left and the media. Which is just business as usual.

And the wall will continue getting built. And more business red tape will be removed. And unemployment will continue to dwindle. And constitutionalist judges will continue getting appointed and approved. Trump will get reelected. A few more Rs will get added to both the House and the Senate.

…only after the whistle blower lodged his complaint.

But hey, feel free to ignore that obvious fact.

Need proof that’s what compelled him to do it? Several people testified under oath that the aid would not be released without the announcement of investigations. Ukraine went so far as to schedule the announcements with CNN. But then, the aid was released without the announcements. Why? Because he got caught obviously.

TDS isn’t limited to the USA.

Sorry but normal people when on trial take every opportunity to provide evidence that they are innocent.

To cover the mud flung against the wall by the libs.

It’s all “obvious” – to the libs. ( shrug )

He will use the power of his office to pressure foreign governments to help him politically, just like he did with Ukraine.

Your idiotic deflection makes no sense as a response to my post. No one involved with the originally Republican funded dossier used the power of their office to pressure a foreign government to help them politically.

Shout it, mama!! That’s the spirit!!

You obviously don’t realize that after you yelling at the sky about Trump’s Russian collusion, the Mueller investigation, the disappearing whisle blower and your hero Michael Avenatti…you have no credibility left…none…nada…zilcho…zero…empty…so just stop with your foolish nonsense…if…you please can?

The administration new about the WB complaint before it was ever even made public.

There was no violation of law, the aid was released within the Fiscal Year.

Nobody testified the aid would not be released without an investigation based on any actual firsthand knowledge and obviously they were wrong.

The people who would be in the know about the actual never testified.

In fact they fought to not have to.

That should raise a red flag or two.

The sworn testimony is in the record. The Republican defense is to studiously avoid rebutting that evidence or allow anyone else to testify… while creating distractions about process. Cipilonne’s opening argument rested on a series of blatant lies… for instance that Republicans were not allowed to participate in the SCIF evidence gathering sessions.

But I am sure Trump’s defenders will keep up their defense of the indefensible.

As Adam Schiff said last night, this is about doing what is right.

He will be vindicated forever and reelected.

You can’t be serious.

How will he be vindicated? His team of lawyers have not disputed ANY evidence brought forward. Trump supporters are making arguments that even Trump isn’t making. It’s hilarious

Who is locked up for that again… oh… wait… :sunglasses:

Democrats will think the refusal to convict is partisan politics.
Republicans will think the impeachment was partisan politics.

Democrats will try to harp on the acquittal and evil Trump. Republicans will harp on the economy, immigration, taxes, extremist positions of the Democrat and the Judiciary.

Who but the Dem base is going to care about an impeachment where the person was acquitted?

Trump will forever have the stain of being the 3rd President in US history to be impeached, regardless what happens in the Senate. It might not mean anything to those that worship the ground he walks on, but not everyone worships politicians.

This is false. About $30 million would not have been appropriated by the end of the FY due to Trump’s delay. Congress had to pass a resolution to appropriate it for the following FY.

Wait, if this was true, why did Trump release the funds? Does Trump think Biden is clear of all wrongdoing and there’s no more need for an investigation? If he’s not cleared, but Trump released the funds, how can it be true that he held the funds because he wanted to ensure a lack of corruption in Ukraine? Can’t have it both ways.
