Trump: "I know a lot about wind" (3-28-2019)

With respect to cats I always remember something Sandi Toksvig said: “so many cats, so few recipes”.

I recall a one-panel cartoon.
Guy with a cat carrier at the Post Office.
Caption: How far can I send this cat for thirty dollars?

I concede that our President must be an expert on wind. He has considerable personal experience in the matter. It’s widely reported that he spent nearly a decade avoiding a draft.

The assertion was that more CO2 was not better. Plants do better both with higher CO2 and to a large extent, warmer temperature. Better is subjective depending upon your point of view.

I’m not interested in your lack of interest. In the future, I will do as I always have done … comment whenever I feel like commenting. How you chose to respond to my comments is entirely up to you.

My comment has absolutely nothing to do with Trump … or the shape of the planet. The fact is, my statement was right on point. Elevated CO2 is good for plants. That’s why greenhouse operators often pump CO2 into the greenhouses to raise the concentration from the ambient level of 0.04% up to 0.8 to 1%. Note that is twenty to twenty five times above ambient.

Flatearthers and RWNJs the bane of contemporary society.

Then it’s a good thing that I’m not one of them. I would hate to be a bane of contemporary society.

What else have you got? Anything about wind power? Or is your repertoire limited to trashing Trump and dishing out derogatory innuendos?

I will post what I CHOOSE to post. I won’t be dictated by you: not now, not ever. In the next few weeks we will elect a party that actually is serious about taking action on climate change. In the second most important event on the first Tuesday i November, 2020 one hopes that a person who defeats D Trump also realises the need to take action on climate change.

And don’t bother trying to post that I am attempting to influence the 2020 Presidential election.

Funny how you stomped your foot and declared that you won’t be dictated to by me, and then you turned right around and dictated to me. It’s particularly funny when one considers that I did not dictate anything to you, all I did was ask what else do you have to offer to the discussion. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It really does provide a great deal of angst that an Aussie chooses to contribute to this forum.

Don’t flatter yourself. I don’t give a flying ■■■■ whether you post here or not.

Now what else have you got?

Yet you continue to post responses to my comments. To paraphrase Willie:

Samm doth protest too much, methinks.

What protest? And why shouldn’t I respond to your comments? This is a discussion forum, isn’t it? It seems like you are grasping at straws to avoid the question.

But then, your continued evasion has provided the answer. You obviously have nothing to add. That’s what I thought.

You have a nice day.

What giving up already? Can’t stand the heat in the kitchen?

Well thats not true.

The only thing holding me back is the long flight. I hate flying. A friend just invited me to India and I’d love to go but would freak in such a long plane ride.

You could go via Hawaii to Sydney and then Perth. We also have the Indian Pacific train that goes from Sydney to Perth.

Whatever makes you happy Samm.

Are you not aware of the thing people refer to as “time zones”?

It’s currently 1 pm here. Are you up yet?
