Not everything. There are many policy disagreements amongst politicians, including Trump. But that really isn’t what this thread is about.
No, just that the budget is massive and complex and I doubt he would have any idea that they had zeroed a few million dollars for some random project. No president would have that level of detailed knowledge.

It’s a defense mechanism. They have to take any criticism of Trump and characterize it as irrational so they can feel comfortable ignoring it.

In regards to alternative energy, I’m an all of the above kind of guy. Let the markets drive green energy and continue using fossil fuels until green energy becomes a cost effective alternative. That is Trump’s approach as well. His green energy comments were aimed directly at the Green New Deal. He was mocking it.
I know, it’s just honestly bizarre to watch these guys give their continuous support in light of being constantly lied to… and it’s so easy to see the lies, or if you don’t believe them at first, look at the record/facts. But they won’t, or simply flat-out refuse (out of convenience)…
I honestly wonder if they allow the same to occur within their personal relationships? If so, holy cow…
