The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.
“The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” he said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.”
“So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”

Arrested for demanding that the Secretary of State of Georgia find 11,780 votes? To be votes, they of course would have to be valid votes that had for some reason not been counted.
There’s nothing wrong with that. Of course, it is a task that likely cannot be done, but other than that nothing wrong with it.
Now if he had demanded that 11,780 fake votes be created…but that would be different. We’re talking Trump, not LBJ.
It was very brave of Brad and Ryan to stand their ground. They didn’t sound intimidated at all. Trump was spewing all kind of nonsense as usual - making up facts.
