Yea never in my life have I even thought about having sex with another man. To be honest it kinda gives me the icky feeling but so does the thought of eating peas. Just cause I get icky feeling about people loving peas does not give me right to stop people from eating peas.
So I am 100% sure I would never have sex with man and that someone could not turn me into someone who would like that. People like person you are talking to must have attraction to men to even think they could be seduced by the gays.
I disagree, at the point the Pharmacist gets the prescription they become part of the patient care pipeline and they a right to self-determination of their own actions. (Now whether that conforms to the law and/or company policy of an employee is a different matter.)
#1 Arizona law does provide the right of refusal to Pharmacists so the bold statement is incorrect. (But that doesn’t mean the Pharmacist can’t be terminated for violation of policy.)
#2 Let’s say there is a patient. The patient is given a long term maintenance prescription for some condition. The patient then sees a specialist for another unrelated reason and forgets to disclose the current prescription. The specialist (based on the information they have available writes a script for medication. When the patient goes to have it filled they catch that the maintenance medication and the specialists prescription would have dangerous side effects for the patient. It should rightly refuse to fill the prescription and notify the patient.
Sex-all sex-is inherently ridiculous and kind of gross and definitely hilarious. The only time it doesn’t seem that way is when it’s the particular kind of sex you’re into. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
They have a right to self-determination. That begins and ends with removing themselves from any transaction they feel interferes with their beliefs. They cannot, based on moral grounds, deny the right of an individual to receive treatment in accordance with their doctor’s directives. When the pharmacist refused to return the patient’s prescription that’s exactly what happened. If they were also shaming them loudly as the patient alleges, that’s doubly worse.
The comparison you give doesn’t serve especially well; you’re comparing health concerns with moral ones.
This is what I mean. Like you think you’re exploiting an insecurity that I don’t actually have because you have it. This is all just a big laugh. I get along famously with the gays-to the point even my girl mockingly calls me “an ally of the LGBT community”-but that doesn’t mean I’m worried about being a twelve pack away from waking up with a funny tickle in my throat like some dudes.
I guess there’s a first for everything. Maybe you’re breaking Trump’s hold on you. Instead of declaring #MAGA and #FakeNews, and gaslighting everyone like usual, you were able to face a fact for the first time. It’s so strange.
Hey I wonder if I can get a thread started for my experience as well, although being a cis gender non gender fluid white man I doubt it, let’s see. Last year at the local WalGreens I was denied a prescription for pain medication, and the pharmacist was extremely rude about it and literally put a huge X on the front of the prescription and sent it back to me in the drive through window.
Some background information I had broken my ankle while playing basketball with some co workers and had to go to the E.R. after which the Dr. offered to either call in the prescription for me or write it, since I didn’t know which pharmacy I would choose I decided to just let him write the prescription and I would get it filled on the way home.
As my friends pulled into the Walgreens and gave the prescription to the pharmacist he become immediately skeptical then insulting. He said that he has seen many prescriptions by this Dr. in the past and accused me of stealing and forging the prescription in which he said he was going to report me and then drew a big X on the prescription so I couldn’t get it filled elsewhere. I told him what at happened and shown him my ankle to no avail.
After this traumatic experience I called the hospital back and told them what happened a few hours later the Dr. called it into a different pharmacy since I was not going back to Walgreens again, in which alas everything was ok and life went on. There was no news story, no threads dedicated in my honor, my cis gender non gender fluid white male butt just had to sit their in pain for three hours until the mess blew over.
I do not feel at this time I place high enough on the oppression meter for people to take notice
