Yes, that’s why i will never comply with being told to fire anyone, or make them wear a mask that does nothing, or even ask them questions about their health, a private matter.

I think that changed after delta. I don’t think many people think that’s the case anymore. Let’s put it this way just in the last three weeks I have had and aunt and uncle in Germany both vaxxed get covid both lived. My sister and her husband in the states finally caught covid both vaxxed both are doing good.
I know my family doesn’t represent society I just don’t think the 1 in 5000 number is the delta variant. Maybe the original version of covid but not delta. Vaccine seems to be doing a good job about keeping people out of the hospital it’s looking like there is more break throughs with the delta variant.

It may, at least for a few of us.
Elderly on my dad’s side of the family, an aunt & first cousin, even though vaccinated, got the virus, but survived.
An aunt & her husband, again vaccinated on the opposite coast, got it. One survived, the other is hospitalized.
What I’m hearing is a majority of breakthroughs are taking place among elderly who received the vaccine, but a majority of ICU and poorer outcomes are taking place among the unvaccinated.
