To My Republican Friends

What do you do now? Nothing now. Democrats didn’t plan on using the pandemic until the opportunity arose.
I am talking attitude, not a specific plan.

The Dems have to change their messaging to make it not real.

When Biden’s team publicly announced they weren’t counting on the Latino bloc for their path to victory (and they only got the support of the Arizona Latino bloc because of Sheriff Arpaio), I believed they were being brutally honest.

But it’s not going to work going forward.

If there wasn’t concern among the Democratic ranks, there wouldn’t have been a need for a disastrous DNC Caucus call yesterday.

Nobody does anymore. They’ll get stole.

Oh I think he’s going to be reminding them of their failures.

I don’t agree with all of it, but good post.

Interesting. Were/are they conservatives?

Im not saying it isn’t a concern. Miami vs Az is a very good example of how different Latinos vote.

I’m just pointing out that the advantage that people are seeing in exit polls is skewed to in person votes. Not mail in.

The entire thread’s been illuminating, thank you for starting it.

True, but this is politics. We will see this going forward:

I get that some of these points are implied to be caused by Biden, but the spirit of this post is that bad events will be blamed on biden.

So the deal is that when you are in charge the opposition will blame you for everything negative that occurs. I’d like for this to not be the case, but have concluded that it is a fact of nature. Probably because it works.

I don’t know about the “radical minions,” but yes, I posted earlier that Biden will be a weak president.

I think that’s hyperbole. Both parties work hard to retain control, I think talk of adding states, etc., is overblown campaign fodder.

Slightly better for democrats.

Portman is not going to lose in Ohio.
Grassley will hang on Iowa.
Rubio in Fla.
Georgia is iffy

Then there is AZ and Nevada that dems have to hang on. And if we can maintian inroads we having with Latinos…that’s libs weakest point.

Pa and Wis can poses a threat depending on what Harris and Biden administration does.

There is a lesson to be learned here. Strategy. What was the fundamental error the Trump Team committed to be learned by those coming up?

Think about the focus of the messaging.

Schwerpunkts (critical points) change during a battle and especially a war. The OODA loop is continuous, not static.

On December 31st 2019, the schwerpunkt was the economy. Sometime in March or April 2020, it changed. The TT tried to fight the December war during the April fight. To force the schwerpunkt not to change. That will never work.

They were inflexible, didn’t adapt. No adjustments needed.

The world moved too fast for them.

You’re right, it was probably more than that. Aww man.

All Latinos are not Latinos as defined by dems.

More guns is the wrong approach. 1,000 rounds of ammo per gun is much more effective.

Who will?

Not so sure Clintonista operatives will won’t enjoy inclusion in a J’Biden administration if not the bag herself.
A R Senate majority will protect the filibuster, expanding the court or additional states. Keep your fingers crossed the verdict is still out.
3, 4 & 5 can be over rescinded by EO. It will happen and ‘Ol Joey from Scranton will be signing it like everything else what’s put in front of him by others. You know he is the policy maker of the Dims, he told us so!

I know, but they’re not engaging them so they either don’t know or don’t care.

You don’t begin to understand Latinos.
