Dems are on record depending on “the browning” of America to win a solid majority, completely ignoring the sheer amount of mixed kids growing up with a bread-winning father in the house.

Even more of a problem for them going forward, since everyone armed up due to BLM and ANTIFA. Millions of new anti-gun control voters.

I’m a first-time gun buyer as of 2020. Granted, that was at the start of the pandemic right before lockdowns and there was a crazy rush even then, but I’ll probably buy another on account of the defund the police movement now. Contrary to what most Democrats believe, I have no intentions of building a doomsday arsenal.

He won so much that the Dems lost seats in the House and probably blew their chance to take the Senate. Biden will be a weak president, and 2022 and 2024 are looking brighter for Republicans. Schiff might be celebrating today but he shouldn’t be.

It wasn’t a huge national story for a long time because nobody cared.

I’m not saying nobody cares, I’m saying that if Democrats can convince people that their lives will be better with Democrats in charge, transgender bathrooms won’t stop people from voting for them. People care more about their livelihoods than who uses what bathroom.

Ideally, yes. But it wasn’t necessarily policy differences that got Trump out of there. Whereas I dont think in the long run the Russia hoax worked for Democrats, blaming Trump for the worldwide pandemic worked very well, IMO.
Fight on issues.
Don’t forget the way the other type of fighting worked.

Maybe in terms of seats up for grabs, but I think this election proves that Republican policies are more popular with the average American right now. Dems need to fix that before 2024 to actually win those seats.

If you live in Georgia right now…if they offer early balloting again, take advantage of it and get the hell out of there until, say January 10.

Georgia is going to be Ground Zero for a titanic clash over the two Senate seats.

Why would they need to leave? Maybe just turn off the cable and radio instead, seems easier.

The truth can easily be uglier than a lie. It was the politicization of dead bodies due to a Chinese virus that was the biggest help.

In short, Democrats owe their victory to China, in many ways.

Had trump been just mildly competent, he would have politically profited handsomely from the pandemic.

It was easily the greatest gift to Trump’s re-election. (Cold bloodily speaking politically here.)

Think about it - a virus enemy destroying american lives…what a thing to rally against, to pull everyone together and fight shoulder to shoulder. Doesn’t even require military deployment…

But he has no interest in doing the work.

YES. That’s one of the most insane parts of this. All he had to do was act human, mostly defer to experts, express a little compassion, take it seriously, and suppress his urges to 1) be right about everything every second and to 2) curb his need for endorphin hits from his base just a little. CORONA sucked, but it opened a door for him. (I’ll forgo the standard stuff that everyone already knows about him being a genuinely terrible person who knows nothing and lies all the time).

Every death due to that virus was blamed by Democrats on Trump. It was nonsense but it worked. If they had decided to fight only on issues and had decided that the country needed to stand in unity against the virus, Trump might be entering his second term.
Its too late to get all “lets stand together” and only discuss issues.

What libs don’t understand just who will be looming in background…that alone is well worth the entertainment.

When Biden tries to take the credit for Covid vaccine that will be coming out, or if economy has a hiccup…or NK shoots off a long range missile…or trade gap with China starts expanding again.

Or when gas prices starts going up…and your taxes.

The point is not what he will do to us, it’s what he won’t do for the libs and their reaction to it.

As an effective force? Maybe. If they stack the courts, we are defenseless. If they are in total control of election laws and monitoring we are defenseless. If they overwhelm us with new “Americans” we are defenseless. Time will tell.

Good point. That is one of my frustrations with the GOP, they draw their hardest lines in the sand against all reason. And then make the most absurd excuses for it.
