Time to push School Choice

While the results are better, I don’t care for the charter school concept much.

It still uses taxpayer money.

It is public school managed by corporations. Much like the prison system.

We can do better.

And it is still subject to Teachers Union influences.

And curriculum requirements.

The single most important education a child can receive in the minds of libs is a thorough LGBTQ+ education!

Those people are retarded.

From the link:

Governor Jay Inslee signed a bill into law on Monday, March 18, mandating that Washington schools include LGBTQ history in their curriculum, as per KPTV.

Under a new law signed by Inslee, all public schools in Washington will be mandated to revise their curriculum to incorporate LGBTQ histories and perspectives.

These worthless lib politicians have nothing better to do and honestly view this as extremely important. How utterly pathetic

Let them go. They are destroying the failed institution at a more rapid pace.

“iT’s oNlY tAuGHt iN LaW skOoL!”

One can only hope that now that it is law it will be taught at the same abysmal level as Math and Reading.

Great point. It won’t. Teachers actually know CT.

Public Schools are largely failing students, and the powers to be could care less about quality education but rather push DEI, LGBTQ+ indoctrination, CRT, and mediocrity:

The tiny schools, which have a median student body size of 16, have been described as a modern reinvention of the one-room school house, where children of varying ages receive personalized instruction from a teacher in the same room.

I remember having this conversation with you…about returning to one room schools houses.

With age of computers and internet those kids will thrive.

That’s the future of education if only libs will allow it.

My paternal Grandmother was teaching in a one room school house in the 1920’s. :+1: :grinning:

Sounds similar to my kids’ school where there’s 38 kids ranging from pre-K to 8th grade. It’s a really good idea.

I love it!

I would think a school with no grades, tests or homework would sound snow-flakey to conservatives.

The way things ought to be.

Well as someone who was part of the current public school model I saw what works and doesn’t work. I’ve been opposed to letter grades for a while for example.
