A lot of those “bureaucratic regulations” carry substantial felony penalties under the Magnuson-Stevens and Lacey Acts. But the FBI has no expertise in the commercial fishing industry.

I like it. Long since time for federal law enforcement to be housed under the same roof.
another great move. Too many times USAID works against what the state department is trying to achieve
and now, if they would roll border patrol into the coast guard creating a unified command to protect our borders I could be really happy!
The ATF outlived its purpose when prohibition was ended. But like all Federal Agencies with guns and badges, once established, it requires steel balls to get rid of them.
