Time magazine person of the year

So the 80 million who voted for Biden are Democrats and the 74 million who voted for Trump aren’t Republicans. So what are they???

Nobody says mentally deficient. You came to that conclusion on your own. Maybe that is obvious to you too?

Why please?

“Abandoned everything” I believe was the quote. In my mind that implies some kind of mental deficiency.

I wouldn’t say that Trump voters necessarily are mentally deficient, but those that still think that Trump has a snowball’s chance of being President at 12:01pm on 1/20/2021 have a screw loose.

Well, I just think that front line medical workers or George Floyd would have been better choices. I’m sad that the BLM protests ruined a national moment when many of us could have come together.

Joe and Kamala are politicians who succeeded at a political thing. No biggie.

Not that I pay much attention to Time person of the year. Who remembers anyway?

Can’t say that I disagree with you there. Biden will be sworn in on 1/20/2021. You can take that to the bank.

Since it is not “best person of the year” I can see that. Harris is the first BIPOC to ever be VP, but she won’t be until next year, so perhaps they could have waited.

George Floyd was a thug. I like the nurses or even BLM. I disagree that BLM ruined the subject.

I can think several others. RBG maybe?

Chris Matthews? The dude who lost his mind and his job over Bernie winning the Iowa caucus? That raging communist?

Why do you feel that it’s necessary to project the admitted reaction of some liberals to Obama’s speeches onto Trump supporters? What evidence do you have to support such a ridiculous notion? Or is it that you are just trying to shed the image of Obama worship by libs, by suggesting that that sort of emotion is also common in conservatives?

It was just simple humor.

THE NURSE

would have made a perfect cover. That’s all it’s about anyway right?

Don’t see why Republicans would be concerned about the decisions of the remnants of a Democrat media organization.

Last time I picked up a Time Magazine (in a doctors office) it was perhaps 20 pages long … a good portion of it advertising and the stories looking more like they were out of People Magazine compared to the Time of my youth. Its sad, really.

I don’t believe your claim. I read Time pretty frequently throughout the year. Its normally sixtyish.

Maybe I caught them on a slow week.

No you just exaggerated.

So what? So does Time. :stuck_out_tongue:

All I know for sure, that when I used to subscribe to Time … and I did for many years … it was a magazine of substance. Now it is more like a tabloid than a news magazine.

Wait for what? Do you see something preventing that from happening?

Yes … the Secret Service.
