This is not how the First Amendment works

Easy. - “Trump falsely claimed that mail-in ballots would lead to “a Rigged Election.” However, fact-checkers say there is no evidence that mail-in ballots are linked to voter fraud.”

Here is some evidence:

"Allegations that Hawkins altered 193 absentee voter records came to light during the 14-day canvass following the election. Benson said the Oakland County Clerk’s Office reported with the Bureau of Elections “the potential for these irregularities and from there we began our investigation.”

Hawkins’ alleged actions, did not alter the outcome of any election, Benson stressed, and “there were no voters that were disenfranchised.”

“All valid votes in the election were ultimately counted and the final official vote total was accurate,” Benson said.

Ahhhhhhh…it’s different? I wouldn’t have guessed that? Thanks. :sunglasses:

Ya boy is trippin.

Oooo.

I can’t wait to see it.

No. What I do think is that social media is a whole new construct that when I witnessed Senators questioning heads of these entities with questions displaying their personal ignorance, any understanding of it’s magnitude on our entire social construct was being missed by them. Now…several years have gone by and some of them probably even have a Facebook account ? In time, the government will have to intervene and set up rules that these mediums must adhere to regarding equal treatment of all but…it’s still around 2 to 10 years down the road IMO.

Maybe…and maybe not? :sunglasses:

Someone who apparently fails to understand both the letter and the spirit of Section 230.

Why, as a conservative, would you ever support government regulating content on a private platform?

Facebook 2004. Twitter 2006. Yep. Brand new. You betcha. What year is it anyway, really?

The “guy they chose” isn’t the guy you think it is.

Ya got trolled by your own…lol.

No no. When he started calling himself a Republican after being not only a supporter of the Clintons but calling himself a Democrat for years, he really meant it. Honest injun. It’s ok. That’s all ancient history back when they were still friends.

Trump with his eye on the ball today. 100k dead from COVID and he is worried about Twitter.

Who here is proud to call themselves a Republican? What a great man he is.

It’s like people suddenly forgot that most of our politicians are professional whores or something all of a sudden.

My reasoning is that I want an even, neutral, honest, level playing field for all participating in something that has become such a platform for much of our society. If not, the field gets tilted and that IMO is the greater of the evils.

But you see the fairness doctrine is a violation of the First Amendment, unless it’s put in place to protect only certain views, of course.

IYO…have they evolved, matured or grown in anyway since that time…and if so, by what percentage?

Evolved? Sure. Are they vastly different from when they started? Not really.
