There is now a "Gen Alpha"?

Reference to what? Someone you don’t believe in?

Do you believe Mohammed existed?

Why “from a mod”?

We have had this discussion before. Mainly its learned behavior just the same way as many people say “bless you” when you sneeze. It is not indicative of any religious belief but just someone expressing amazement or being startled.

I suspect people started to say it back when religion was far more powerful and it was almost an act of rebellion to take the lords name in vain.
Now like I said its just learned behavior.

Nah, they do it to provoke. That’s a stupid excuse.

Calm down. No one does it to provoke. When I use god as an exclamatory statement I am not thinking I want to offend. I guarantee people will use the term “god”, “jesus”, “jesus h christ” or my old mums favourite “mary mother of god” in private when no one is around and something happens to startle or take them aback.

But go ahead play your usual silly games in how you respond to posts.

You use “god” when you don’t want to offend? Are you kidding?

I wonder where your parents got your name?

The Lord says, “to be first, you must be last”. How does that play into your hate?

Love The Lord with all your heart and each other as yourself. How does that fit into your hate?

You do not know, how much you do not know…and that’s the epitome of ignorance.

I believe you the amount of uninvolved parents that expect a school to raise their children is staggering.

The children can also do no wrong it’s the schools fault.

The schools told the parents they aren’t qualified to get involved.

The parents have no desire to get involved, those that are involved their kids excel.

I see it in the peers of my kids

Too many parents today treat school like daycare and plug their kid to a device when they are home.
.

The dumbest person alive doesn’t read that and think “Ah, that wasn’t done to provoke.”

True.

But the most sensitive people in the world think it’s always done to provoke, because it just has to be about their feelings.

I was not referring to Adams post but when someone/anyone says “god” or “jesus” when they are startled, taken aback, shocked etc

No, they’re just not willing to excuse it, nor should they be expected to.

It’s about conviction.

Not sure what you mean.

If you truly don’t, I hope you do one day.

Do you know the story of David and Goliath?

……that every time somebody says certain words it’s about our feelings.

We have far too much wokeness as it is. Let’s not drag religion through that mess.

You’d rather they excuse it. Thats not how it works.
