THE VIEW...can you believe!

Then don’t run your cakehole.

no that was dantes not sure why that looks like i posted it

Because I quoted it out of your quote of him.

there ya go!

cant get used to this new forum

I like it. They need to put the one step edit button back, but I like it.

Yes i know, why would they ever do that.

I’m thinking of a little caveat to that thought which is you are only eligible for the single payer system if you are one of the following.

  1. You are disabled.
  2. Reach the age of retirement.
  3. Work at least 30 hours a week.

I’m not big on people getting benefits when they willingly choose not to work. I do support various social programs like SNAP because there exists a fairly large chunk of our population who are not educated, don’t have the means or the intelligence to do so, and cannot gain living wage employment, but are willing to work even at a dead end minimum wage job. I believe that we should offer a measure of support to them.

I’m also in favor of initiatives that encourage people to further their education and to do so without saddling someone with enormous student debt. IMO the Federal Direct Loan program is one of the worst bondage creating situations there is. Think about that. The US government offering relatively low interest loans in the name of the opportunity to earn a decent paying job but it takes 30 years to pay off unless you live in a shanty, rely on public transportation, and eat a strict diet of Mac and Cheese and Ramen. Its freaking insane.

Here is a lib that wants to turn his body, his healthcare over to our goverment.

yes that would help!

the scrolling kills me too. otherwise… not too bad

Certainly not Conan,

I personally just want to be able to have affordable healthcare. My own company offers a single person plan that isn’t really terrible, like $80 a week for a single. But I have a 11 year old. The family plan jumps up to like $400 a month and that is after the company kicks in their part. Where I live $400 is a very big amount of money in relationship to income.

These insurance company make money hand over fist, and give hardly anything back and there is something very wrong with that.

BTW I’m not a “lib” that has been made very clear. You can label someone however you want, but that doesn’t make you correct in anyway, in fact it makes you look like presumptive idiot.

I don’t disagree.

If you say so.

I’d lavish praise on you for being mostly rational but I don’t want to make your head too big.

Pardon me for pointing out the obvious…but
this cannot be politically discussed, because
it’s (political disgust) just a headline about the garbage minded Dem☭nKKKrat’s…
~ Lol…

Probably a topic for a different discussion,

But really, why do Republicans in general not understand the value of supporting such social programs? You might say that I am over generalizing but I think you will find that many people receiving “socialistic” benefits are those that actually are or have contributed to our society as a whole. They are willingly cast off by the GOP on a regular basis and lumped in with the smaller proportion who haven’t done the same.

In my mind and educated, healthy, and working society is the best thing we can have. To fight tooth and nail to deny all based on some lazy asses is not productive, nor saves money in anyway.

You’re so cool.

It’s amusing that someone who was county judge in New York for two years would adopt the moniker, Judge, for the rest of her career… It’s kinda like Judge Judy (Judge Judy was actually a judge for longer), technically correct, but come on…

You said so.

The old healthcare was no better than the new. Government is not the answer.

I did say so. What if it?
