The Presidential townhall with George Stephanopoulos

fairly certain his point is even biden admited the constitution does not allow the president to do so

No he said we needed herd mentality.

That’s what he’s used to from his acolytes.

Yeah, but some people don’t know the difference. Sad.

I was in a restaurant restroom and they had a sign over the sink that read, “Employees should consider washing their hands before returning to work”. Consider?

Sounds like the Fox News staff called in.

CDC Director Redfield just told senators that wearing a face mask might be more protection against COVID than a vaccine. This comes a little more than 12 hours after Trump said he has heard from his experts that don’t think masks are effective. Who are these experts you may wonder? Waitresses apparently.

Trump is a ■■■■■■■ psychopath and he needs to go. He is a danger to our nation.

I would feel embarrassed that my political party expects me to believe that.

Well, you are not afflicted with “herd mentality”.

that does not explain away Trumps ridiculous rant.

You’ve been conned. She didn’t ask a question.

I didn’t see the interview and I only saw the clip (on this forum) after I had made my original post so you’re tough out of luck for a yes or no answer.

I do know that President Trump runs his words and thoughts together that gives fodder to those who hate him so I’m just going to assume that’s the case here as well. :woman_shrugging:t2:

I liked the part where Trump said that he was being waited on and that the Waiters were touching their masks and then touching the plates of food. I’m surprised that someone didn’t ask him if he ate the food.

So when he says something stupid he is also thinking the stupid thought. Yeah, that makes sense.

He also said a vaccine won’t be available until early next year.

There are approximately 328.2 million people in the US.

To get to the low end of herd immunity, according to your numbers, about 20% of the population must catch Covid.

That’s about 65,640,000 cases.

The current US death rate is about 2.96%.

So that’s 1,942,944 deaths necessary for herd immunity.

Your suggestion that 40% would be needed for herd immunity would mean that almost 4 Million would die.

When were McDonald’s employees called “waiters”?

Love Jo’s reply.

When he say stuff like, “the experts told me” or “generals told me” or “they told me”, the follow up question should be, “Who…what are their names”. There are none, he making that ■■■■ up. No one didn’t tell him jack and even if they did it probably went against his BS narrative and ideology.

Figuratively, not literally?

This is where Trump would say “it is what it is…”
