Even some of the most devoted of Donald’s admirers here have in the past referred to him as “necessary/lesser of two evils,” and “an enema.” I have yet to hear anyone speak of their admiration of the man, as a man. Usually only a defense/dismissal is offered: the standard “Whatabout/so what/but LIIIIIIBZ.”
In short, I feel like after Trump is gone the dominant attitude will be “Yeah he was a massive turd, but he was OUR turd.”
Nobody remembers Congress. They remember the Presidents. In 20-30 years when the baby boomers are gone, Trump will be a stain
