No, they were never going to elect Hillary. That was a forum assumption by a bunch of geniuses who know everything about the world from the comfort of their Google results.
I was there on election night. Even team Trump was kind of depressed and downtrodden early on election night, looking like they were ready for a loss. Trump was even getting the excuse out that the election was rigged.
Well, you can count a lot of forum Trump supporters in on that then. I recall being online that night, seeing posts such as “this country is finished - Hillary is going to win and destroy America.”
I just love how some are trying to rewrite history now.
President Trump blasted his fellow New Yorker as the audio emerged, saying in a Tuesday morning tweet as the New Hampshire primary was getting underway: '“WOW, BLOOMBERG IS A TOTAL RACIST!” The tweet was later taken down, without explanation.
In an audio clip of the 2015 speech Bloomberg gave to the Aspen Institute, the billionaire acknowledged that “stop and frisk” targeted minority “kids” whom cops must throw “up against the wall” to disarm.
Also for context:
Donald Trump on Wednesday called for the controversial “stop-and-frisk” policing practice to be instituted nationwide as a means of combating violent crime in America’s inner cities.
Perhaps Trump won’t be remembered as harshly as some think, but his brand of politics won’t be remembered fondly. You honestly don’t think he’ll be remembered positively by either side do you?
When you get beyond the emotion and the hyperbole of the swamp…his policies have been excellent and he will be a case study for a Non-DC “regular” (billionaire) being able to win a Presidential election.
I think it will be even tougher the second time.
Studies in presidential rhetoric will also need re-written.
Agreed…My issue is and always has been this. You can’t be effective as a leader of this great country when our four closest allies prime ministers publicly mock our president.
