Some facts that may advance understanding between opposing points of view: Sixteen percent of all counties in America supported President Biden. These were counties with densely populated cities. Eighty-four percent of all counties in America supported President Trump. These counties are less densely populated.
Also interesting for those of us who take up in depth Bible Study. Even ancient man took note that problems erupt in cities and that mankind is better off spreading out over the land.
Not expecting to change anyone’s mind; just presenting information of why President Trump has so much support outside metropolitan city limits.
I like the list of all of Donald Trump’s failures. He simply got up and moved on. That’s how many of us live our lives. We get up and move on, depending on ourselves and without even thinking of yammering for government assistance to give us this, provide us with that, or bring us more “entitlements”. Amazing what people can accomplish when left alone.
The point: Voting results in densely populated areas are much different from the voting results in less densely populated areas.
What this means: Those who reside in small, densely populated cities decide the fate that favors the densely populated areas over those that are spread out in less populated areas across the country.
Does this mean city folk think better than the town and country folk? Or, does it indicate town and country folk think differently?
Should people who think differently be looked down upon and dismissed? Should city populations decide what is best for an entire nation?
Silence and de-person political opponents.
Balkanise the population into small competing tribes that need an authoritarian mother state to keep the peace.
