All.he has to do is claim every loss is because of cheating… he already knows his followers will believe that with no proof … in fact, no proof proves they cheated…

Besides the Dems would love to see the Republicans cannibalize themselves in the process.

A reality check here, term limits are unlikely to ever manifest in Congress. And losing pension and lifetime insurance is something very few in especially the Senate really covet either as most are well off. Even those who enter Congress poor will latch on to sponsors who see to it that if elected they will eventually become affluent by simply towing the party line.
Not that I think Donald Trump could do this, but any leader who could get the populist right and the populist left to work together would win in a landslide. There isn’t much difference between Trump and Bernie Sanders when it comes to fiscal policy. The only big difference is the way they would treat corporations in regards to taxation.

A lot of the right has had it with the chamber of commerce and big corporations. Including me.
The establishment knows full well that We the People would never elect Bernie into POTUS.
Where as Trump has already proven he can succeed, but ONLY with cooperation of one of the main two parties.

It is possible, especially if they continue to lean hard left, that the Democrat Party may also take a hit. Another possibility is that the Independent Party might benefit if Americans are offered four viable choices: Democrat, Republican, Independent, and Patriot.
Democrats see themselves as remaining strong while Republicans divide. Could happen–perhaps likely–but that’s not the only prospect. The benefit of four political parties being a force is that it just might get corporations (especially the news media) from putting their all their eggs in one political basket.

Trump remains the poster child waving the red flag. Even in the worse case he remains the de-facto leader of the Republican party until at least someone or something comes out to the contrary that has apparent support of millions like DJT already has established ties with.
Even Roberts now has stated he will not play along with this impeachment hoax against a private citizen.
My preference would be minimizing the amount of money that is used to influence the election and legislative process in our democratic republic.
I would think this is something most Americans would support.
For some reason, many conservatives disagree.
