i could agree with some govt funding as long as they stop pretending they are journalists doing news. stick to arts, documentaries….
but no “state news”

I disagree. It will make a difference as will so much wasted foreign aid.
The whole idea behind NPR was to seperate it from advertising bias.
Now it has a political bias.
No point in funding it. They should change their name too. It does not serve the public.
That’s just a start and well worth doing.
There are millions of other places to cut waste and it will all add up to real money.
I disagree. It will make a difference as will so much wasted foreign aid.
Amen!
Cut everything that needs cutting.
Everything from NPR to Ukraine.

How is that NPR story wrong?
Camp:
All the more reason to stop the funding.

From the article:
“…a review by NBC found Patel shared unfounded claims about supposed conspiracies aimed at undermining Trump perpetrated by government officials, the FBI, social media platforms, the media and others.“
How else would you describe the unsupported conspiracy theory about Trump working with Russia to steal the 2016 election except a conspiracy itself? Knowing that the source of the fake dossier was the Democrat party, the FBI offered Steele a million dollars if he could substantiate some of his rumors. Then later, they advised Hunter Biden’s lawyers before a search warrant was served.
exactly - perfect exposition of how they do “reporting”

The Government spends $6 million per minute. Cut it for the principle of it, but $2 million will make no difference at all.

If you cut out their public money, they can call themselves anything they want. It’s 'Merca you know.

The spin is that Trump was less than 50% of popular vote so it wasn’t as good as it could have been.
Trump gets less than 50% in popular vote, but it's tight : NPR
He still won by over 2 ■■■■■■■ million votes.
gawd love npr. fart sniffing left-tards
NPR would be a good place to cut spending.
Yeah, but that’s only about $2.5 million (around 1% of their budget) … nobody will notice, not even NPR.
That’s just a start and well worth doing.
There are millions of other places to cut waste and it will all add up to real money.
Perhaps it would be more effective if we started with the most-costly and work down.
Multitask.
Good luck with that. This is the Federal Government we are talking about. It’s bigger that Trump and Musk put together.
Camp:
All the more reason to stop the funding.
Sure, but the Government spends more in half a minute than they give to NPR in a year. Don’t pretend like it would make any difference to the American tax payers.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
it already feels like trump is president with the attention he’s getting and the responses and changes around the world already happening
that’s gotta be a yet another smack in the face to mr “i will bear him like a drum” biden, Liz, and the rest of the DC scum
The difference between a dementia patient and a president.
Good luck with that. This is the Federal Government we are talking about. It’s bigger that Trump and Musk put together.
The swamp creatures will battle Trump and Musk for sure.
They cannot stop them from cutting waste however.

Exactly.
If we take the attitude something is too small to bother with nothing will get done.

If you donate to a cause or organization, that says you are giving it your approval. The government needs to stop doing that for a partisan organization like NPR.
