Quite literally the only time I’ve seen the idea of machines changing votes is the continual references of how Trump lost because voting machines were tampered with. And a lot of posters here today do absolutely believe that. Even though it’s been completely debunked(and a certain conservative news network had to pay out $787 million for lying about it). But people here still believe that. I honestly can’t think of a single poster here claiming that Russians were changing votes in machines to help Trump. I asked who here claimed that Russia was changing votes in vote machines to help Trump? I’ve literally never seen that here. What I have seen ad nauseum is the claim that voting machines were rigged to help Biden win. Even though it’s been shows to be false over and over and over again.

No! We are not talking about criminal or moral or ethics code, we are talking the scientific method of proving or disproving a theory.

There is nothing “scientific” about making an unsupported claim and demanding others disprove it to “invalidate” it.

The “scientific method” requires a hypothesis to be tested, and the results analyzed - not bare untested assertions.

As an adult, I can’t ever recall personally encountering that kind of argument (proposed with 100% seriousness, of course) from another adult until I came here.

How would mass deportation with local police involvement, national guard patrolling inner cities, and a more robust concept of qualified immunity not be a huge expansion of the police state?

Apprehension and deportation of people here illegally has nothing to do with a “police state.”

To enforce mass deportation using local law enforcement… that is by definition a massive expansion of the police state.

Using the National Guard under your to police cities…. That is by definition a massive expansion of the police state.

Expanding what is considered to be qualified immunity… That is by definition a massive expansion of the police state.

Make up your mind, is it local law enforcement or the National Guard patrolling the inner cities?
