I do not know who is or isnt for DeSantis as the Presidential candidate. As always in candidate selection as individuals are eliminated allegiances will shift.
Trump has today launched a verbal attack on DeSantis, do you really think that DeSantis will act spinelessly like Cruz did when he made personal verbal attacks on his family?
I dont think DeSantis will retaliate but instead continue to work quietly to lay the groundwork for his own candidacy.
I know you have this dream of Trump and DeSantis working together but its not going to happen.
So you don’t know but more importantly DeSantis knows who is already in his corner for sure. And all the guys I mentioned aren’t exactly singing either DJT or RS’s praises. Along those lines, Trump has quite a few tooting his horn, including McCarthy and Graham being recently outspoken…
To clarify I have no such dream.
And both are well aware that how funds raising initiatives boom when it’s played in the press like a daily soap opera saga unfolding. Both bank millions in the process for future endeavors.
Trump will be the nominee, or he will splinter off on his own run. At that point it really will be the revenge tour, with the target of his wrath the Republicans who didn’t love him enough.
I would be extremely shocked if DeSantis does not run. Everything is moving in his favor, polling, decline of Trump, money flowing in. He’s the odds on favorite…for now. It wouldnt be smart for him to declare too early though- probably by summer.
