The new york times Is Reporting That A Member Of schiff's Staff Met With "whistleblower" Before They Filed Complaint

Bro that doesn’t even make sense. This just broke. The whistleblower stuff has been out for over a week. It didn’t go straight from the committee to the front page.

Impeachments aren’t tried or investigated in court. Hearsay is only proscribed in criminal trials, sport.

It’s literally specifically in the whistleblower law that taking a complaint to the relevant congressional committee is totally legit.

Schiff flat out lied. He said in an interview that his office had, had no prior contact with the WB’r.

Not only did they have prior contact they carefully helped the blower concoct his story.

Shiff has even admitted that the WB’r contacted his staff and they aided him in writing the complaint.

The article that you refereed to does not say that they aided him in writing the complaint. It says

One of the whistleblower’s attorneys, Mark Zaid, later told The Hill that Schiff did not help his client write the complaint.

“Absolutely not,” Zaid said. “No help or involvement.”

Schiff stated otherwise.

Maybe you should read what I responded too before you interject.

Are you joking?

That never happened

I suspect he is a partisan, political hitman.

Sure not finding a reference to Schiff saying that.

He admitted no such thing.
